Our server's lore is extensive, and partially separates from the traditional TG Station lore adopted by most other servers in the Space Station community. Nanotrasen and Syndicate are— to the galaxy at large —insignificant. The largest galactic powers are established here, but space is left for the personal-insertion of character lore in the form of "wayside" states. When discussing galactic history, there will be inevitable inaccuracies and blatant lies as most of our original records here were lost following the explosive conclusion of the Greyspace Era.

The galaxy was once ruled by a handfull of great powers. Super entities of unimaginable capability whom bore no interest in the affairs of lesser states. These powers held the influence needed to facilitate a conflict called the "Eternal War"; concluding with a galaxy-wide electromagnetic pulse that reduced every civilization to the early space age, and destroyed all of our digital records.
The galaxy is split into various sectors; each a history of their own.
The events of Byrd take place on one of many remote Nanotrasen-operated stations emplaced for research and to act as catalysts for zones of control against neighboring powers.
